Hartpury Process provides efficient and effective facilities for the processing of apples and/or pears; the preparation and bottling of drinks and the development of new products.

1. Fruit Processing & Juice Extraction

Two options are available to serve your specific requirements:

If required, freshly pressed juice can also be bottled and pasteurised.

2. Final Processing & Bottling for Cider, Perry & Other Beverages

At Hartpury Process we provide equipment and facilities for the processing and bottling of cider, perry and other beverages through the following stages:

While the normal minimum run capacity is 250 litres, smaller quantities can also be processed. The rating for the bottle filler is up to 250 x 500ml bottles per hour (less for larger bottles), but the total daily production is dependent upon the type of processes which are carried out and the type of product being bottled.

A fully temperature controlled cider, perry and wine fermentation system is also available for use.

How HARTPURY PROCESS facilities can be used by YOU

The facilities are available to a client in two ways:

  1. A supervised self-help service. After an initial training, individuals and businesses can book and use the facilities themselves under the guidance of expert staff.
  2. Our professional staff can be contracted to undertake the work on your behalf. We will be pleased to discuss the most cost-effective solution for your purposes. Materials (e.g. bottles) can either be provided by the client or obtained through Hartpury Process Limited.
